David  is a raconteur of tales of his childhood, life in the Royal Air Force, his short-lived political career, doing business in Brussels, running a publishing business, meeting Mrs Thatcher, and his globe trotting that has taken him to more than half the countries of the world.

Give him a glass of merlot and he will tell you a story, but you never really know if it is a true story, or just a tall he has picked up on his way through life.

This site is the beginning of a repository of all his stories, some amusing, some sad and one or two just plain fun.

Today David is a media, marketing and business consultant living in Germany with his wife Stefanie and travels extensively trying to make a shilling or two.
